Three SCS seniors have signed commitments to Houghton College and its basketball program: Bryan Bishop, Jacob Bowman, and Petar Serafimovski. Jake has accepted a full athletic scholarship from the Division II NAIA school, a member of the American Mideast Conference.

Sarah Child has received a full scholarship to Roberts Wesleyan College, who signed her on to their women's basketball team recently. Sarah has received several athletic and academic honors this year.

Contest at Union College
The SCS Math-Science-Technology team won first out of over 20 teams from across Northeastern New York at the 2008 Union College Rube Goldberg Machine Challenge recently.

The SCS team's machine will be on display at the Schenectady Museum and Planetarium through May. Congrats, Ryan Dussault, Caleb Garofalo, Zach Ritchie, Karoline Schwenker, Michelle Taylor and science teacher Karl Kunker!
