The Falcons won the State Semi-Final against Livingston Manor, 11-1, but fell to Arkport in the State Class D Championship game, 14-6. Our fans (thanks to all of you who came--we had a great response!) were really proud of our guys. It was a great, unexpected ride--clenching a Section title and a Regional title on the way. Thanks to the team and their coaches for an unbelievable season.

Grandparents-VIP Day 09

Several dozen grandparents and "VIP's" came as guests of our elementary students last week. Guests participate in a program, then visit in their students' classrooms. Most either stay for lunch or take their students out to lunch. One of our favorite events!

The Annual Play, "Cinderella," was a big hit again this year, with sell-outs for all three performances.

Word has it that the nine "mice" were as big a hit as Cinderella and Prince Charming! Great job, Mrs. Booth & crew!

/files/Images/Home Page/Third Grade Authors 09.jpgThird Grade Authors
Congrats to three third graders who had their short stories published in the 2008 Anthology of Short Stores by Young Americans. While in second grade last year, each of these students wrote a short story about what it would have been like to have been brought over to America as a slave, work on a plantation then follow the Underground Railroad to freedom. A copy of this book is in our library. Nice job!
